Post games high

Spent the last weekend with the usual suspects of Nic, Ben, Dom & Gump, with Pete and Mike thrown in for good measure, at our semi-regular gaming weekend. Its the 4th time we’ve done this though we still have problems with getting the network set up – there’s always one that can’t connect

We’ve also had Fiona’s mum down to Canterbury a few times in the past few weeks while she was over in the UK. Next week, her bro Stu is coming down. Will be good catch up again.

And only a few weeks to Malta

Booked!

We’ve just booked the first of our holidays this year. I’ve got a conference in Malta in March which Fiona will tag along, being a WAG once again sitting my the pool drinking gin and tonics while I’m presenting some research at the conference. Doesn’t seem fair somehow

Tacked onto the end of the conference, we’ve booked a stay in Venice for 2.5 days. With work I’d accumulated enough Hilton Honours points to stay at the Venice Hilton for free - a saving of €1200 apparently!
