Took off to Australia for an 11 day whirlwind trip for Fiona’s sister’s – Catriona – wedding. Spent a large part of the time catching up with family and/or organising wedding stuff. Wedding went really well, despite torrential rain in the morning and last minute details from the church causing some headaches. Congrats Cat and Mick. 
Had a brief chance to do some dawn photography. I’ve come to realise 5am starts just aren’t my thing. Here is a shot from Wellington Point – the rest of the gallery is here:
Went to Bath this weekend to Lisa and Nick’s wedding. Fiona was bridesmaid, while I was driver for the day. Wedding was beautiful, as was the bride and it was a really good event. Congrats to the new Mr & Dr Fitzpatrick!
And boy can those Irish drink!
Well, it had to happen. A lapse in memory caused Fiona to forget to lock up the birds last night and a fox stumbled upon the birds. The result was that all the birds were killed. 
Since then we’ve picked up two more chooks though its no longer duck season so we have to wait until next year to pick up some more. Their pen is now an impressive construction with 8 foot high fences and its roof lined with netting to keep out birds and cats. A lot of work but now that its done I can concentrate on other things in the garden.
